Design Services

We have 3 basic types of design services available. Each description below is simplified and it is important that you understand that we are very flexible and customize our fees and services according to your needs. Either type of service can apply to residential, commercial or churches.

RE-DESIGN - This is a "broad" category - This could be anything from re-using what you currently own to starting from scratch. We can do this with a one hour consultation and let you do the work or give you a flat fee and we will help from beginning to end. This could include shopping for items needed, picking paint colors, selecting store-bought or custom window treatments, and much more.

NEW CONSTRUCTION - We can help you critique a floor plan before construction begins, and guide you thru all phases of selecting counters, cabinets, flooring, lighting, paint colors, etc. We can work with you from beginning to end and completely help you furnish your home or just help you know the best placement for what you already have.

RE-MODELING - From a small bathroom to an entire home, we are able to handle a large assortment of projects. We have contacts for removal and installation of flooring, counters, cabinets, wallpaper, lighting, and more. We also have a great plumber and painter. All of our subs are licensed, bonded & insured and they have many years of experience. Typically we take jobs within a 45 mile radius or so.

Design Process

Regardless of which category of design, we like for you to be involved during the design process. This allows us to achieve your desired look regardless of budget, style or color palette. Tina Griffin, an experienced interior designer, will work with you creating your own custom look.

Some of you know what you like and have preferences, while others just don't feel comfortable picking anything and don't want to make a costly mistake. We will work with you regardless of your situation, but we will not make choices without your approval. Our designer will guide you, giving you pros, cons, and her opinion, but you have to make the decisions to move forward. She will strongly encourage you to pick what you like and then she will help pull everything together. This is how we can say that we have never created 2 rooms that look the same!

Whether you need help with furniture scale and placement or putting colors and fabrics together, we have a passion for helping you create your style! We will discuss the best function and traffic flow for the particular area and more. Our designer will learn what you prefer and is amazingly able to help you create an atmosphere that you will love for many years. She has worked with floor plans for over 20 years and is able to visualize the space, helping you understand how it will all work.

We will ask you for an inspiration piece to get started. This helps us build the characteristics of the area that we are designing and it creates the personality. We will also decide what the focal point is going to be - whether it is a rug, a picture or a fireplace that's being used, there will be a flow of style and color from room to room. Tina specializes in bringing the spaces together, creating a comfortable atmosphere for all to enjoy.

Many times we work with items that you already own from a previous residence, etc. Typically we incorporate these pieces into an area where they look new and they have a whole new purpose. We will require pictures and measurements of such so we can plan accordingly.
